Happy New Year!
HAPPY NEW YEAR!
Vivianne went out of 2007 with a bang! She said her first word yesterday. It was “mama” :-) It was awesome. I can’t wait for her to say it again!!!
Here’s a picture of her and her little friend, Isabel, hanging out. Isabel was born June 27, 2007 weighing in at a little over 5 pounds…pretty amazing to see how much she has grown. She doesn’t quite weigh as much as our little chunk, but is already taller than Vivianne by one inch!
Vivianne's 9 Month Appointment
Vivianne had her 9 month appointment yesterday and it went really well. She only needed to get one shot this time, which I am sure she appreciated:-)
She weighs 19 and one-half ounces, putting her in the 50th percentile.
She is still 26.5 inches tall, putting her between the 10-25th percentile (we’re thinking she might be a tad on the shorter side…)
However, she must have some big brains, because her head is 17 and 3/4 inches round, putting her in the 75th percentile…I’m still laughing about that one. She’s got a noggin on her that is for sure, hopefully it’s not full of empty space;-)
Her doctor said we could start feeding her some table food now, so that will be fun.
Update/ She’s not crawling yet…but loves to pull up and stand. She loves food and jumping in her jumperoo and exercauser. If it were up to her she would live in the water. She’s starting to babble a lot…and experimenting with her voice by making this awful screaming noise, with a crinkled up face look to get our attention (I guess this is her way of communicating). Needless to say, we are really looking forward to hearing more words come out of her mouth so that can end:-)
And she crawls!
Ol’ lead butt decided to move!
Warning: This video is a bit long…if you get bored with it and shut it off, just know that she does crawl and pull up to a standing position in the end:-)
Vivianne's New Thing...
Standing up in her crib!
We will lay her down in her crib for a nap or to go to bed for the night and soon there after we will hear her babbling away, so we will go check on her and she will have pulled herself up to a standing position and will be holding onto the railing of the crib just a grinning away like she has really gotten away with something! Little stinker!
